IBU 14 - Edwin Budding Lager A.K.A “Krystal” – In the summer, it is widely accepted to drink what has been labeled a “lawn mower” beer. These beers
are typically lighter in nature, and quite refreshing on a hot summer’s day. Well, our Edwin Budding Lager (EBL) is our “lawn mower” beer. Edwin Budding, who hailed from Gloucestershire, England, is the man credited with inventing the lawnmower in 1830. What better way to honor the man who has helped us for nearly 200 years keeping our lawns nice and trim, than to name a beer after him. Made only with the four main ingredients; Malt, Water, Barley, and Yeast. This Premium Styled American Lager has little malt and hop aroma present. The color is straw yellow with a white frothy head, and very clear. EBL is very crisp and dry in flavor, and overall very refreshing. Look for EBL during the summer months to quench your thirst.Malt: 6 Row Barley

- Altbier – “Alt” means “old,” and “bier” means “beer,” so naturally Altbier means “old beer.” This in no way implies that it is spoiled or old, but distinctly means giving credit to the ways of old for brewing this beer. Altbier has a subtle malty aroma, and has a low noble hop aroma to compliment. The appearance is copper, and is clear with an off-white head. The flavor is fairly bitter yet balanced, and has a decent amount
of malt character. This is our homage to brewing in the ways of “alt,” so raise a glass in salute to our brewing forefathers.Malt: Europils, Munich, Cara 20, Cara 45

The mouthfeel is medium bodied, and Decades has a medium level of carbonation. There is an unmistakable grassiness to this IPL which stems from dry hopping with whole leaf Cascade hops in the serving tank. The lager yeast gives our stout a creamy, almost milk stout, quality. There is a distinct dry roasted bitterness, and some would assume that we use coffee in our stout. Its appearance is black, with a brown head. This beer is remarkably smooth and very sessionable. If you like Guinness then give this a try.
